Senators Winter and Catlin, co-prime sponsors, introduced and explained Senate Bill 25-272 Regional Transportation Authority Sales & Use Tax Exemption. The bill allows Regional Transportation Authorities to construct housing for employees and contractors and exempts the purchase of those construction materials from the state sales and use tax.
