Senators Roberts and Winter, co-prime sponsors, introduced Senate Bill 25-181, concerning the Just Transition Advisory Committee (JTAC). The bill continues the JTAC indefinitely based on a sunset report from the Department of Regulatory Agencies. The sponsors distributed Amendment L.002 (Attachment B). They responded to questions from the committee.

Richard Orf, representing the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, testified in an amend position on the bill. Carl Smith, representing the SMART-Transportation Division, testified in support of the bill. Wade Buchanan, representing the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Office of Just Transition, was available to answer committee questions. Sonja Macys, representing Colorado Counties, Inc. and Routt County, testified in support of the bill.
