Senators Holbert and Todd, co-sponsors, presented Senate Bill 18-101 which concerns student admission to Colorado State University-Global Campus (CSU-Global).  Senator Holbert provided background information about CSU-Global and explained the purpose of the bill.  Senator Todd provided comments about CSU-Global.

Becky Takeda-Tinker, President of CSU-Global, spoke in support of the bill.  She distributed a handout with information about the school [Attachment A].  Dr. Takeda-Tinker talked about the school's history, successes, affordability, student demographics, and innovative education programs.  She spoke about the importance of enabling freshman students in Colorado to access CSU-Global programs.
