Senator Daugherty, primary bill sponsor, presented House Bill 25-1162 which requires the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing to streamline Medicaid reenrollment for individuals with stable incomes and to simplify the medical documentation process for assessing long-term care needs.

Leslie Kalechman, representing AARP Colorado, testified in support of the bill. Nicole Zamparelli, representing A Wildflower Assisted  Living & Care Home INC, testified in support of the bill. Amanda Lofgren, representing Colorado Health Care Policy and Financing Department, was available to answer committee questions. Chris Underwood, representing Colorado Health Care Policy and Financing Department, was available to answer committee questions. Committee members asked the panel questions.
