The primary bill
sponsors, Representatives Duran and Hartsook, introduced Senate Bill 25-194
to the House Health and Human Services Committee. The bill continues dental
profession regulation by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) for
nine years, extending the programâs repeal date from September 1, 2025,
to September 1, 2034. Among other changes, the bill requires DORA to adopt
rules regarding jurisprudence education prior to initial licensure and
clarifies that witnesses or consultants appearing or testifying during
DORA proceedings have immunity from civil liability. |
