The primary bill
sponsors, Representatives Froelich and Zokaie, introduced Senate Bill 25-130
to the House Health and Human Services Committee. This bill adds requirements
for emergency facilities into state law that are similar to those under
the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act in order to ensure
that individuals in need of emergency medical services receive them without
discrimination, delay, or concern about their ability to pay. It sets standards
