Senators Snyder and Bright, bill sponsors, presented House Bill 25-1304, concerning the extension of the restitution deadline for a trial court after an order of conviction enters into a criminal case.  The bill sponsors discussed restitution deadlines and the need for the bill.

Arnold Hanuman, representing Colorado District Attorneys' Council, testified in support of the bill. Brian Lanni, representing Department of Law, was available to answer committee questions. Grant Fevurly, representing Department of Law, was available to answer committee questions. Courtney Sutton, representing Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance, testified in support of the bill.
