of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) Trusts and Estates Section, chair
of a subcommittee examining the act and discussed the summary and a redlined
version of the act with potential changes provided to the commission prior
to this meeting. |

of the CBA, echoed Ms. Ursery's comments and pointed out suggested changes
to make the bill more comprehensive and enforceable in the health care
industry. |

representing the Colorado Hospital Association, testified that the act
would have significant impact on the health care community and amendments
would be needed, preferably before the act is introduced. |

asked Mr. Chaffee about the CBA proposed modifications. Mr. Chaffee responded
that he had not yet seen them. |

included introducing the act as is, its potential fiscal note impact, sending
the redline version of the act to the ULC to determine the uniformity of
the suggested modifications, and further discussion on some of the modifications,
specifically those concerning timeframes.

was to delay a decision on the act to take the next month to review the
suggested changes, consider any ULC feedback, and listen to additional
testimony at the December meeting on the acts and any offered modifications.
