Senators Bright and Ball, co-sponsors, presented Senate Bill 26-020, which concerns child care provider licensing, expanding the use of a digital file system, increasing reliance on trained personnel from the Department of Early Childhood for inspections and investigations, and creating a task force. They provided opening comments on the bill and distributed amendments L.001, L.003, L.004, L.005, L.006, and L.007 (Attachments C through H). A memorandum on how the amendments, if passed, will change the bill's fiscal impact was distributed to the committee (Attachment I). |
