to the House Health and Human Services Committee. This bill allows the
Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to award grants through
the Coloradoâs Health Disparities and Community Grant Program to organizations
that support the human-animal bond as a social determinant of health. The
bill defines the human-animal bond as the mutually beneficial relationship
between a person and a pet animal in the personâs care and custody. |
