to the House Health and Human and Services Committee. The bill requires
a health care provider to discuss adoption as an option when a pregnant
person requests an abortion. The discussion must occur at least 24 hours
before the procedure, unless the person declines, and must include specified
information related to adoption, including financial resources, different
adoption routes, and other information as specified in the bill. |
