Review Legislative Department Budget Request - I move that the committee approve the legislative department budget request as presented by Legislative Council Staff.

Director Castle presented the Legislative Department budget request for FY 2026-27. She reviewed several portions of the budget package request and discussed the budget savings outlined in House Bill 26-1331.

The committee discussed House Bill 26-1332, which pertains to the legislative department cash fund. Committee members made comments and discussed who will sponsor the bill.
