Representatives Carter
and Joseph, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 26-1288. The bill establishes
a minimum amount of time for jury selection proceedings in trial courts
and allows parties to develop a jury questionnaire. The sponsors distributed
a strike-below amendments, L.002 (Attachment A), and a memorandum about
the fiscal impact of the amendment (Attachment B). The committee discussed
the bill with the sponsors. |
