Representative Clifford, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 26-1312. The bill makes several changes to the Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) board and codifies the requirement that an officer must be 21 years old to receive POST certification. He distributed amendment L.001, which is a strike-below amendment, and L.005 and L.007, both of which amend L.001. He responded to committee questions.
