Sen. Weissman introduced
Senate Bill 26-116. The bill allows statutory municipalities to levy a
lodging tax, creates requirements of assessors using the income approach
to value lodging property, extends the qualified-senior primary residence
property tax benefit, increases the business personal property tax exemption
threshold to $60,000, and discontinues local reimbursements for business
personal property tax exemptions. Sen. Weissman discussed L.005 (Attachment
B) and answered committee questions. |
