and Representative Martinez, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 160:
Personal Protective Equipment and Meatpackers. This bill prohibits a meatpacking
employer from deducting the cost of personal protective equipment from
an employeeâs pay and from unreasonably denying an employee the use of
a restroom during work time. The bill sponsors answered questions from
