Senator Moreno called to order the conference committee on HB21-1301, concerning the removal of impediments to cannabis farming, and, in connection therewith, permitting contingency plans to reduce crop loss based on adverse weather and convening a working group to examine measures to reduce cross-pollination, and making an appropriation. 

The conference committee discussed CLHB1301.001, the First Report of First Conference Committee on HB21-1301 (Attachment A). 

Committee members discussed hemp prices, cannabis strains, crops, and the outdoor marijuana industry. 

Committee members also discussed regulations and the rule-making process.
