Brian King, Farm
Manager at Fagerberg Farms, introduced his presentation. He told the committee
about the tools he uses on his onion farm, including an Ecorobotiex ARA
Sprayer that uses artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to recognize
crop vs. weeds and reduce pesticide use. He spoke about a laser weeder
that has machine learning AI to target weeds. He told the committee about
costs being the barrier to utilizing this technology. |

used on, and the reduction of agricultural acres in production in Colorado.
