Senators Zenzinger and Kirkmeyer, primary bill sponsors, presented House Bill 24-1384, which requires the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) to seek a federal grant for certified community behavioral health clinics. The bill specifies that HCPF must collaborate with the Behavioral Health Administration and the Joint Budget Committee. If the grant is received, HCPF must promulgate rules to certify the clinics.
