Senators Roberts
and Catlin presented Senate Bill 25-060, concerning expanding the crime
of obstructing government operations to include the repeated calling of
public safety emergency entities without justifiable cause. The bill sponsors
distributed a fact sheet (Attachment A) and explained the need for the
bill.

asked about current penalties for repeatedly calling 911 without a real
emergency.
