Representative Ricks and Representative Bockenfeld, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 23-1200, concerning improved outcomes for persons with behavioral health disorders.  The bill creates a pilot program under the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) to provide vouchers to applicants for private behavioral health care. Additionally, the bill requires the BHA to develop a family input form for behavioral health entities and Medicaid providers.  Representative Ricks discussed amendment L.007 (Attachment C).  The bill sponsors responded to questions from the committee.
