Sens. Pettersen and Kolker introduced House Bill 22-1001. The bill transfers $16.71 million from the General Fund to the Department of State Cash Fund in order to reduce business filing fees. The sponsors gave some opening remarks and answered committee questions.

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Beall, representing the Colorado Secretary of State's Office, testified in support of the bill.  Ms. Lindsey Vigoda, representing the Small Business Majority, testified in support of the bill.  The witnesses answered questions from the committee.
