The committee returned to order. Representatives Marshall and Weissman, co-sponsors, presented House BIll 24-1052. For tax year 2024 only, the bill reinstates a refundable income tax credit for senior taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for joint filers who have not claimed a homestead property tax exemption. Amendments L.003 (Attachment F) and L.004 (Attachment G) were distributed to the committee.
