Representative Melton introduced House Bill 17-1249. The bill creates a new factual basis for unlicensed motor vehicle sales; increases penalties for the existing class 3 misdemeanor offense; credits fine revenue to local law enforcement and the Department of Revenue; and allows fine revenue to be used for enforcement of unlicensed motor vehicle sales.



Representative Melton responded to questions from the committee.
