Colorado 2-1-1 Collaborative Funding

Concerning a statewide communication system for referral to essential services, and, in connection therewith, requiring general fund appropriations to be made to the department of human services for the issuance of annual grants to help fund the system and making an appropriation.

Bill Summary

For the 2021-22 fiscal year and each fiscal year thereafter, the bill requires the general assembly to annually appropriate $2 $1 million from the general fund to the department of human services (department) for the issuance of annual grants to the Colorado 2-1-1 collaborative. For the 2021-22 fiscal year, the bill requires the general assembly to appropriate $3 million from the general fund to the department for the issuance of a grant to the Colorado 2-1-1 collaborative for technological upgrades.
